What is The Curvycon?
The Curvycon is a weekend of love for curvy women. Now in its fifth year, The Curvycon is a bringing together of curvy women from across the country for empowerment, shopping, and celebration. Held Sept. 5-7, 2019, the 3-day event focused on body positivity and offered incredible speakers and major retailers that cater to the plus-size industry. I must thank eShakti.com whose custom fashions I wore exclusively. They carry up to size 32 or can customize any garment. I received so many compliments on the dresses that I had to share! Use code LINDAPEAVY for a $15 and 33% new customer discount! I am hoping that eShakti will be a sponsor next year!
“The Curvycon has become the Nexus point for style beyond size.”

Why Attend Curvycon?
As the segment on The Today exclaims, The Curvycon is 72 hours of body positivity. The Curvycon is a weekend of love for curvy women because it provides a safe space to be yourself. This was my first time attending and it was life-changing. There is no judgment from other attendees because you are there for the same purpose…affirmation. All of the retailers provide clothes that cater to the full-figured body. There is little worry about whether an item is available in your size…how refreshing! I must thank eShakti for sponsoring the new dresses that I wore to The Curvycon. Eshakti is the world’s #1 custom clothing company.
Shopping…shopping…shopping
Major retailers that sponsored The Curvycon included Dia & Co, MACYs, JCPenny, NIKE, Anthropologie, Torrid, Good American, Target, Kleinfeld, Loft, and many others. Booths offered incredible freebies such as jean jacket from Torrid, jeans from Dia & Co, jeans from Good American and an exercise bra from NIKE to name a few!
